1955 MG TF

I sourced this TF carefully as I wanted an "easy" rebuild for when I have completed my current project, a TD. The TF is ex California, LHD of course, but as far as I can see both rust and rot free. The only items that I can spot as missing are the rear side screen frames, the driver’s seat tonneau bar and the spare wire wheel knock on. Otherwise the car is ready for a full and comparatively easy rebuild. I am fairly certain there is no woodwork to replace and no welding required either. I actually removed the rear wings and rear valance for storage purposes and found no rust whatsoever and every stud turned with no problem. It has probably never seen rain! It is UK registered and currently on SORN. A RHD pedal box is with the car as is a new front valance.

The engine is completely seized. The car is available as it is or with a 1250 XPAG unit I took out of my own TF in 1998 which had covered about 12K miles plus a dismantled 1250 TF engine.

My wife has, not unreasonably, declared that it is time we moved to a smaller property which means I will inevitably lose my workshop space – hence the reluctant sale. £10K o.n.o.
